This hand-knotted pile rug is made from natural dyes and hand-spun wool. This charming tribal rug, adorned with stylized trees, goats, and a pictorial landscape, is inspired by a Luri tribal Gabbeh rug. The weaving of this rug is done in northern Afghanistan, the homeland of the Turkmen people, where the art of weaving is respectfully passed down from mother to daughter in individual family homes.
