This antique, handmade kilim rug is flat-woven using a tapestry technique and made entirely of wool. It dates from the early 20th century. Kilim rugs are among my favorites because I’m drawn to their archaic patterns, which have changed very little over the centuries. A genuine tribal kilim rug—authentic and magnificent! This rug was woven in eastern Turkey.
