This handmade kilim rug is flat woven using a tapestry technique and made entirely from natural undyed hand-spun Afghan wool. These exceptionally elegant rugs get their colour solely from the natural variations in the undyed wool. They are woven by Uzbek weavers in central Afghanistan, near the city of Maimana. The archaic patterns have changed little over the centuries. This reimagined Maimana kilim features beautiful texture and elegant neutral tones; it is refined, understated, and subtle. It is a magnificent tribal kilim for modern interiors.
