This handmade kilim rug is flat woven using a tapestry weaving technique. It is made exclusively for Nomade Kilim using natural dyes and hand-spun wool. These kilims have a slightly primitive texture and a rich abrash that makes them resemble the antique kilims prized by collectors. We search everywhere for patterns that inspire us from an eclectic range of sources, including classic tribal flatweaves, textiles from around the world, and modern abstractions. These kilims are among the best woven today.
