This hand-knotted pile rug is made from natural dyes and hand-spun wool. This delightful tribal rug with stylized trees, goats, and a pictorial landscape is inspired by a Luri tribal Gabbeh rug. The weaving of this rug is carried out in northern Afghanistan, home of the Turkmen people, where the art of weaving is respectfully passed down from mother to daughter in individual family homes.
