This hand-knotted pile rug is made using natural dyes and hand-spun wool. This charming tribal rug with stylized trees, goats, and a pictorial landscape is inspired by a Luri tribal gabbeh rug. The weaving of this rug is done in Northern Afghanistan, home to the Turkmen people, where the art of weaving is respectfully passed down from mother to daughter in individual family homes.
