This antique, handmade kilim rug is flat-woven using a tapestry technique and made entirely of wool. It is over 150 years old. This magnificent piece shows signs of wear; it has therefore been mounted on a linen backing and is ideal for hanging on a wall. Mut kilims are woven in the Taurus Mountains, and their striking tribal patterns are among my favorites.
